EMBERLINE K9

FUELLING THE FIRE IN EVERY DOG

At Emberline K9, our mission is to fuel the fire in every dog by unlocking their full potential through balanced, professional, and passionate training. We are dedicated to developing strong partnerships between dogs and their handlers — from family pets learning obedience to elite working dogs excelling in protection and sport. With expert guidance, proven methods, and a commitment to excellence, we create confident, capable, and fulfilled dogs while empowering owners to lead with clarity and trust.

Meet Connor – Head Trainer & Certified Decoy

Connor is the driving force behind Emberline K9, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to every dog he works with. His journey began at 16 years old when he joined the Army. He worked for 7 years in an Explosive Ordnance Regiment alongside Military Working Dogs. This is where he developed the discipline, resilience, and leadership that now form the backbone of his training philosophy, as well as his passion for working with animals . After leaving the military, Connor dedicated himself to working in private animal rescue and fostering countless dogs — giving them a second chance at life and building a deep understanding of canine behaviour.

As a PSA Certified Decoy and a NASDU qualified dog handler with Alpha (NASDU GP level 2), our trusted security dog, Connor combines elite-level working dog skills with a compassionate, balanced approach to pet training. His unique background allows him to bridge the gap between the demands of high-performance working dogs and the needs of everyday pet owners.

Connor’s mission is simple: to fuel the fire in every dog, whether that’s helping a family pup master obedience or preparing a working dog to excel in protection sports.

Meet Hollie – Dog Trainer, Rescue & Rehabilitation Specialist

Hollie brings a compassionate and knowledgeable approach to Emberline K9, specialising in helping overseas rescues and nervous dogs build confidence and trust. With a degree covering all aspects of animal husbandry, care, and behaviour, Hollie combines academic expertise with years of hands-on experience.

Her background as a veterinary care assistant gave her a deep understanding of animal health and welfare, as well as the patience and calm needed to support dogs in vulnerable states. Over the years, Hollie has developed a particular skill for working with anxious, fearful, and under-socialised dogs — guiding them through tailored training programmes that help them adjust to new environments and thrive in family homes.

At Emberline K9, Hollie’s mission is to show that every dog, no matter their past, can find their spark and grow into a confident companion with the right guidance.
